I have changed living accommodations. I knew before coming here that I would only stay a few weeks with my friends. They have other friends and family who will staying with them the rest of their stay. I am in the Borchese Art Palace Hotel, just a few doors down from my school. I had two back-up places to go to, but since I didn’t know exactly when I would need them, I hadn’t made advance reservations. Then when I got ready to make the move, they were both booked full. I have been here for several days and thinking that I may be ready for an even bigger change.
I miss my husband. I miss my pets, my home and everything that Hawaii stands for. I have learned so much here with my private tutroring…more than I ever expected. This has been an art journey, not a vacation. I have put in 7 hours a day in the studio and then practicing on the weekends sketching to get the most out of my time here. I wouldn’t be disappointed to leave without finishing the last week of my curriculum.
